The French Tickler handguards are unique to late original production from the final two years at the Jianshe Arsenal, Factory /26 from the 23 and 24 million serial prefix, or the M21 [0296] designation.

These guns are most often found in excellent condition, and are a niche spot to fill in any serious SKS collection.
