The SU16E comes with a gas piston-operated, .223 REM rifle with adjustable sights, a pistol grip, a threaded 16″ barrel, our unique compact forend, and a 6-position stock assembly. Unloaded, all of stuff weighs less than 5 pounds!
Configurable – There are a few SU16 models and configurations to choose from to suit your needs, but all of them feature iron sights and an integrated Picatinny-style rail on top of the receiver to mount your favorite optic.
Utility – If you know anything about KelTec, you’ll know that we like to keep things light and simple. The SU16 is an excellent choice for your go-anywhere 5.56 rifle.
Reliable – All of the SU16 models are gas-piston operated which keeps fouling to a minimum where the magic happens. Thanks to the long travel of the bolt carrier, the SU16 series rifles shoot smooth, flat and reliably.
