Savage-manufactured Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk I*, produced in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts, USA under the British Lend-Lease program during the Second World War. This example carries the correct “U.S. PROPERTY” marking on the left receiver wall and the “S” prefix indicating Savage production.
The rifle is in very good overall condition, with clean wood, solid metal finish, and sharp receiver markings. The simplified Mk I* design features the wartime bolt release system. All major components appear original to the rifle.
